Trip Collab

Overview
People have become used to online collaborations, especially during the pandemic. We try our best to work as a team online, but we are not always doing great teamwork, especially with the people we already know. According to research from Stanford University, students who had a friend on their team performed worse than those that did not. In other words, people’s contributions to the team are of lower quality when collaborating with friends. Researchers are still trying to figure out the reasons behind this.

How can we improve this situation? When we need to plan a trip with friends or family, it is the most intensive part that we need to collaborate with people we know. I think we've all had similar experiences; it's challenging to get everyone to agree on something as a group. So for my aggregate project, I decided to create a platform that helps people collaborate when they need to make a vacation plan.

Target Audience
• People who like to road trip but are hesitant to make decisions in groups
• People who enjoy the road trip with friends
• People who enjoy the road trip with their family

Goals
Helping people who enjoy group road trip to plan their trips more effectively and satisfactorily. Making the decision-making process easier by involving most members in the group and analyzing big data.
